November 08	Alyson, Nicola and Karen all begin rehearsals this month for the panto season. Alyson will be both producing and performing onstage as the Good Fairy and The Queen in "Sleeping Beauty" at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline, running from 5th-27th December. Nikki shows off both her dark and light sides as the Wicked Stepmother De'Mon and the Fairy Godmother in "Cinderella" at The Byre Theatre St. Andrews from 3rd -27th December, which features some original music and re-arranged old favourites by none other then The Swingcats own Karen MacIver! Karen has also composed entirely new music for "Beauty And The Beast" at Dundee Rep Theatre which runs from 1st December to 3rd January. Echinacea and vitamin C sales are reported to have risen dramatically!
September 08	After the summer break, the girls get together again to eat M & S Apricot roll and discuss choreography and music for up and coming shows with The Glenn Miller Orchestra and The Borders Big Band.
July/Aug/Sep 08	Alyson has been very busy over the last few months producing "The Celts In Seville" at Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre. Written by award winning playwright Tony Roper, this is the story of a typical Celtic family who follow their heroes all the way to the UEFA cup final in Seville. June 08	The Cats make their debut appearance at prestigious jazz venue "The Stables" in Milton Keynes and at the end of the month, make a welcome return to The Tron Theatre as part of The Glasgow International Jazz Festival. The next morning, they fly down to Bristol for a Veterans concert, performing the songs of WW2 in uniform. (Please Easy Jet, don't be late, the timings are tight)!
